ALEC NELSON

VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTMENTS & DEVELOPMENT, UNICO

Alec oversees the investment arm of Unico’s development team and is responsible for sourcing opportunities and executing on existing development projects across all Unico markets. He manages site selection, due diligence, and feasibility, acquisition, underwriting, programming and design, deal structuring, capitalization, and leasing.


Since joining Unico in 2012, Alec has completed over $2 billion in acquisition, development, and financing transactions.

Before joining Unico, Alec was an Analyst at Brighton Jones where he helped to manage funds across several publicly traded asset classes.

DAVE TOMSON
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
SRM DEVELOPMENT LLC

Dave Tomson's 25-year career in facility/development management includes roles as facility manager, director of facility services, regional facility manager, to facility/ development manager with SRM on the Google office campus in Kirkland, WA.

Dave is a graduate of Gonzaga University, home of Spike the Bulldog. Dave was the baseball team’s catcher and later coach.

CHRIS MCDOUGALL

COMMERCIAL BROKERS ASSOCIATION

Chris McDougall is the President & CEO of the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) based in Kirkland, WA. Founded in 1977 under the principles of cooperative competition and providing a fair and orderly marketplace for all participants, CBA is the country’s largest commercial multiple listing service with over 4,300 broker members serving Washington and Idaho. In his role, Chris is responsible for leading CBA in its mission to raise the standard of practice for the commercial brokerage industry and fulfilling its vision of being the most indispensable platform for commercial brokers in the Western United States.

Over the course of his career, Chris has worked as a senior leader within some the of the most prominent and respected firms in the industry, and has developed a unique skill set and invaluable perspective on commercial real estate by working within the areas of research, data, technology, brokerage, and property development. This has allowed him to live and work in some of the nation’s largest and most dynamic commercial real estate markets, including Chicago and Southern California.


Chris was born and raised in Washington and is a graduate of Washington State University with a B.A. in Economics. He currently resides in Seattle with his wife, Carla, and their two teenage children.
